yesterday i went back in time.
and became part of a 1930’s circus.
there were all sorts of performers.. aerialists, contortionists, clowns, sword swallowers, and even an elephant, named Tai.
it was pretty amazing.
the project was put together for a photo trilogy by Wayne Schoenfeld and for filming an upcoming 3D tv show, Sawdust.
i got lost in the intricate spirals of cauliflower this morning.
a spiraling vortex. going on. and on.
I’ve been studying Jin Shin Jyutsu, the mother of Jin Shin Acutouch. Lot’s of self study!
I saw this beautiful rose displayed in a vase of water.. it was lovely.
In honor of Valentines Day, my beloved and I went to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. As usual, the food was delicious but something about the place was different.
The whole experience was psychedelic. We watched as the wait staff dropped glasses, spilled dishes, forgot orders, ran into each other, and literally bumbled around the restaurant. Every once in a while someone would say something to us and we couldn’t understand a word of it.
Whatever the case we had some good laughs and a lovely dinner.
To Love and my Beloved!
My love of slacklining and my fascination with the circus has inspired me to learn the tight wire. Time to find myself a teacher!
Alright. It’s time I admit it. I’m addicted to coffee. But not just any coffee. I like fresh roasted, hand poured, perfectly steamed, beautifully artsy coffee.
