I never thought I would go to Burning Man .. being as sensitive as I am I had so many fears about the harsh climate .. the heat, dust, and wind. I had fears about over-stimulation with all of the lights, the people, and the constant sounds. I was afraid of everything about it.

I am happy to say that I decided to go this year and that all of my fears disappeared. I was relaxed and open. I explored, I connected, and I went with the flow. I had an amazing time!

yesterday i went back in time.

and became part of a 1930’s circus.

jackrachelacrothere were all sorts of performers.. aerialists, contortionists, clowns, sword swallowers, and even an elephant, named Tai.

it was pretty amazing.

the project was put together for a photo trilogy by Wayne Schoenfeld and for filming an upcoming 3D tv show, Sawdust.

Handstand Challenge

Today my teacher said to me.. you need to do between 150 and 200 handstands a day.. every day. Of course I’m thinking he’s out of his mind! But he says it will help me to get better at this :

.. and I know he’s right. So here’s my first handstand challenge : do at least 10 handstands every day. I can do that. 150 to 200 can wait a few months!
